A gestão escolar e a orientação profissional nos anos finais do ensino médio

Abstract

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo reconhecer a importância do desenvolvimento de políticas institucionais na gestão escolar para Orientação Profissional de jovens concluintes do Ensino Médio no Colégio Militar de Porto Alegre. A pesquisa foi realizada com parte da equipe diretiva, na qual tiveram a oportunidade de responder a pesquisa quatro profissionais diretamente ligados à área da Orientação Educacional. Foram entrevistados uma professora, um bibliotecário e duas orientadoras educacionais. O método utilizado foi o estudo de caso. Inicialmente foram coletados dados através de um questionário e também análise documental, com o objetivo de verificar o trabalho desenvolvido pela equipe diretiva no que tange as ações voltadas à Orientação Profissional. Após análise dos dados coletados nesta pesquisa assim como a leitura de um vasto referencial teórico, o presente trabalho propõe-se verificar a importância da orientação profissional principalmente na adolescência, etapa de vida onde o aluno se encontra em processo de construção da sua identidade pessoal e ocupacional.

This research had as objective to recognize the importance of the development of institutional policies in the school management for professional guidance of young high school graduates in the Military College of Porto Alegre. The research was carried out with part of the management team, in which they had the opportunity to respond to the research four professionals directly related to the area of Educational Orientation, composed of a teacher, a librarian and two counselors. The method used was the case study, initially collected data through a questionnaire and also documentary analysis, with the objective of verifying the work developed by the management team in what touches the actions directed to the Vocational Guidance of the College. After analyzing the data collected in this research together with the analysis of the theoretical reference, the present work proposes to verify the importance of professional orientation mainly in adolescence, stage of life where the student is in the process of constructing his personal and occupational identity.
