A relevância atribuída à educação na Constituição da primeira república e seu aparelhamento ideológico

Abstract

O presente artigo analisa, por meio de uma revisão documental e bibliográfica a relevância atribuída à educação na Constituição da primeira república e seus reflexos atuais, contextualizando-a historicamente, traçando também, um parâmetro com o contexto socioeconômico da época. Busca-se compreender os propósitos governamentais a partir de uma análise sociológica, de uma fundamentação teórica, pautada nas formulações de Louis ALTHUSSER, no que tange a escola como aparelho ideológico Estatal. Adota-se uma pesquisa qualitativa com documentos de análises, fontes diretas sem nenhum tratamento analítico como a Constituição de 1891, seus anais e justificativas, bem como outros documentos de fontes indiretas seja através de revisão literária de trabalhos publicados e registrados, seja outros documentos da época. Agrupando-se as informações, antes pulverizadas, possibilita-se relacionar de forma adequada, a Lei Maior no que tange a educação, a história e a conjuntura social da época.

This article analyzes, through a documentary and bibliographical review, the relevance attributed to education in the Constitution of the first republic and its current consequences, contextualizing it historically, also outlining a parameter with the socioeconomic context of the time. The aim is to understand governmental purposes based on a sociological analysis, a theoretical foundation, based on the formulations of Louis ALTHUSSER, regarding the school as a State ideological apparatus. Qualitative research is adopted with analytical documents, primary sources without any analytical treatment such as the 1891 Constitution, its annals and justifications, as well as other documents from secondary sources, whether through published and registered works, or other documents of the time. By grouping the previously dispersed information, it is possible to adequately relate the Major Law regarding education, history and the social situation.
