Preconceito linguístico no processo de aprendizagem: o que podem as aulas de língua portuguesa?

Abstract

Este ensaio tem por objetivo refletir acerca das dificuldades que os estudantes têm em escrever na norma padrão ou culta da língua portuguesa, porque usam no dia a dia a língua coloquial. Eles não estão habituados com a língua formal, sendo essas dificuldades consequências de vários fatores que as influenciam: culturais, sociais ou históricas, que constituem as variações linguísticas. Mostrar aos alunos as variações linguísticas é importante para que compreendam essas mudanças e tenham condições de reescrever a fala passando-a da língua coloquial para a língua culta.

This article aims to reflect on the difficulties that students have in writing in the standard or cultured norm of the Portuguese language, because they use the colloquial language in their daily lives. They are not used to the formal language, and these difficulties are consequences of several factors that influence them: cultural, social or historical, which constitute the linguistic variations. Language variations must be presented as important to the students in order to understand these changes and be able to rewrite speech by moving it from colloquial language to the formal language.
