Sinais-termo de localidades da Feliz/RS: terminologia em libras no turismo municipal felizense

Abstract

Neste trabalho de conclusão de curso é apresentada uma proposta de catalogação de cinco sinais-termo, no formato de Libras, que possam fazer parte de fichas terminológicas. Essas fichas terão a finalidade de suprir as necessidades da comunidade Surda, quando esta necessite se dirigir para determinados pontos turísticos da cidade. Especificamente, a localização-tempo-espaço deste trabalho dá-se no município de Feliz, estado do Rio Grande do Sul, no segundo semestre do ano de 2023. O objetivo geral é catalogar cinco sinais-termo sob a fundamentação teórica da Terminologia em Libras. Já os objetivos específicos envolvem a identificação dos sinais-termo, bem como a composição das fichas terminológicas que serão disponibilizadas a partir dos parâmetros gerais dos sinais sugeridos. A metodologia utilizada envolveu pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa exploratória e descritiva. A coleta de dados realizou-se por meio de uma gravação realizada por integrantes da comunidade surda, intérpretes e professores, onde os mesmos demonstraram previamente os sinais-termo próprios para finalidades turísticas da cidade de Feliz-RS. Aplicou-se uma entrevista com os membros da comunidade surda que compôs os sinais-termo. No referencial teórico, pesquisou-se sobre a Teoria Comunicativa da Terminologia, onde é possível ver que a mesma estabelece diretrizes em um conjunto de termos que representam formas de transferência e comunicação e que esta considera a linguagem de Libras como uma ferramenta prática em um tipo de comunicação. O problema de pesquisa permeia a seguinte questão: A partir da Terminologia em Libras, quais parâmetros de linguagem compõem os sinais-termo para representar os pontos turísticos da cidade de Feliz? A justificativa para a escolha deste tema é que os sinais-termo catalogados possibilitarão o acesso às experiências turísticas de forma acessível e inclusiva, através de uma comunicação efetiva em Libras. As principais contribuições deste estudo estão relacionadas com a integração universidade-sociedade, com a finalidade de reconhecer Libras como uma língua tecno-científica. As limitações envolvem a falta de intérpretes e o despreparo da população em geral em relação ao domínio desta língua.

This final paper presents a proposal for cataloging five sign-terms, in Libras format, which could form part of terminology sheets. These cards will be used to meet the needs of the Deaf community when they want to go to certain tourist attractions in the city. Specifically, the location of this work is in the city of Feliz, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the second half of 2023. The general objective is to catalog five term-signs under the theoretical foundation of Terminology in Libras. The specific objectives involve identifying the term-signs, as well as composing the terminology sheets that will be made available based on the general parameters of the suggested signs. The methodology used involved bibliographical research, exploratory and descriptive research. Data was collected by means of a recording made by members of the Deaf community, interpreters and teachers, in which they previously demonstrated the signs and terms suitable for tourist purposes in the city of Feliz-RS. An interview was conducted with the members of the Deaf community who composed the signs. The theoretical framework researched the Communicative Theory of Terminology, which establishes guidelines for a set of terms that represent forms of transfer and communication, and which considers the language of Libras as a practical tool in a type of communication. The research problem permeates the following question: Based on Terminology in Libras, what language parameters make up the sign-terms to represent the tourist attractions of the city of Feliz? The justification for choosing this topic is that the catalogued sign-terms will enable access to tourist experiences in an accessible and inclusive way, through effective communication in Libras. The main contributions of this study are related to university-society integration, with the aim of recognizing Libras as a techno-scientific language. The limitations involve the lack of interpreters and the general population's unpreparedness to master this language.
